- Among Us 3D: Launched as a separate, standalone title on PC via Steam on May 6, 2025, (after its VR release in late 2022). This fully immersive 3D version brings the classic gameplay into a first-person perspective. It supports cross-platform play between PC and VR players (Meta Quest, Steam VR, PlayStation VR 2, PICO), offering a new level of immersion and interaction. Crucially, Among Us 3D is NOT compatible and does NOT feature crossplay with the original 2D Among Us game.
- Among Us 3D – Tag Mode: A new permanent mode where “Infected” players try to convert Crewmates before tasks are completed. Crewmates can get temporary power-ups (invisibility, speed boosts, stuns).
- Proximity Voice Chat: Among Us 3D features native proximity voice chat, enhancing immersion and dynamic communication.
- New Roles (2025 Roadmap): Beyond popular additions like Scientist, Engineer, Guardian Angel, Noisemaker, Tracker, and Phantom, Innersloth has confirmed up to four more new roles arriving by the end of 2025. Teased roles include:
- The Alchemist: A potential role that can neutralize poisons or detect them.
- The Bounty Hunter: Tasked with eliminating a specific Crewmate, creating a wildcard.
- The Mimic: Can briefly copy another player’s role and abilities.
