- Download and Explore: The base app is free to download on mobile devices (iOS and Android). As of April 2, 2025, Toca Boca World is also officially available to play on PC via Google Play Games, expanding its accessibility to Windows users. Once downloaded, you’re immediately given access to the starting areas (11 locations & 40+ characters are included in the free download) and free characters. Spend time exploring these initial areas to discover interactive elements and hidden surprises.
- Drag and Drop: The main interaction mechanic is simple drag-and-drop. Tap and hold a character or item to move it around the screen. Want a character to sit on a chair? Drag them there. Want them to hold an object? Drag the object to their hand.
- Character Interaction: Characters can interact with almost everything. They can eat food, change clothes, ride vehicles, and much more. Experiment with different interactions to see what happens. Recent updates in 2025 have even brought more fluid movement animations to characters and a “talking feature” (where characters can mimic your voice via the mic), adding more lifelike interactions.
