Heartspire

The dead wood is climbing. You are the last Warden of the Heartspire. At the top of the tower burns the Heart, the buried ember that keeps the valley's dead asleep. Twig sprites, grave gnomes, briar elves and worse are climbing toward it. Your only weapon is the wall itself. BUILD THE RINGS. BREAK THE CLIMBERS. Blocks fall in real time around a tower you turn beneath them. Fill a whole ring and it shatters, sending a blast up the tower that strikes every creature above it. Clear two rings at once or set off a chain and the blast hits harder. Stack too high and the tower cracks. WRATH, FOR WHEN IT GOES WRONG. Every clear charges your Wrath. Spend it early on a single climber near the top, or save it for the Bell of Ash or Heartfire and burn the whole wall clean. Unused Wrath can be bottled and carried into the levels that need it.
