About this game

Exodus: Starship Survivors is a space shooter and space roguelite in the bullet heaven mold. Hordes close in from every direction, your weapons fire on their own, and you decide what your ship becomes. It is a space survivors game with a campaign behind it. The galaxy has fallen to enemy warfleets, you command the last capital ship, and you are taking it back one star system at a time. Horde survival • Enemy ships swarm you from every side, from the first second. • Weapons auto-fire, so the skill is positioning. Steer with a floating one-thumb joystick, or switch to manual tap-to-fire if you would rather aim. • Each star system ends with a flagship duel on its last planet. Draft, evolve, merge • Every level-up is a draft: pick weapons and ship systems, up to six weapons per run. Two rerolls every run. • Dozens of weapons and ship systems, a full space shooter arsenal: turrets, torpedoes, beams, railguns, missile batteries, mine fields, cryo turrets, tractor beams, EMP bursts, shurikens, helix drivers, arc casters, and wings of fighters, bombers and interceptors. • Every weapon has its own evolution. Take it to level 6 with its paired ship system. • Unions merge two weapons into one stronger weapon and free up a slot. Railgun plus beam becomes Sunspear. Missiles plus torpedoes become Hellfire. Ships and captains Every space survivors run starts with a hull and a captain. • Start in the Harrier and unlock more hulls as you go: Storm, Carrier, Controller, Koga, Sapper, Hyperion. Each has its own weapon slots and its own take on horde survival. • The Venom: its Disintegrator makes most upgrades count twice, its bow-arc gun stacks decay, and its evolution spreads decay when targets die. • The Widow: drops anchor sentries joined by silk threads. Enemy ships that touch a thread are snared and burn, and a strong enough web explodes. The sentries do not shoot. The web does. • Pick one captain per run for a perk such as longer weapon range, extra boss damage, an extra fighter or cheaper upgrades. Earn captains by clearing planets, finding beacons, completing feats and winning with certain ships. The roster keeps growing. The galaxy map The campaign side of this space roguelite plays out on the galaxy map. • 15 star systems held by six factions: the Kolgarian Empire, the Tessarine Republic, The Hollow, the Frost Reavers, the Drift Cult and the Independent Freedom Armada. • Every front shows who holds it, and you choose where to fight. Each faction turns the bullet heaven into a different problem: Frost Reavers freeze. The Drift Cult mines. The Hollow disappears. • A relic is hidden in every star system. Find one and it opens a new objective or unlock. Flotilla and convoys • Salvaged ships join your flotilla and give lasting bonuses to your economy, rerolls and banishes. • Mid-run, stranded civilian convoys sit behind elite guards. Clear the guards, fly in, and get paid. Every liberated system strengthens the convoy network and brings in more salvage. • Answer distress beacons to rescue civilian haulers. • Tech tracks upgrade your ship between runs, so each round of horde survival starts a little stronger. No account needed. Available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese and Korean.
