About this game

One of you doesn't know the word. Imposter is a pass-and-play party game for 3 to 20 people and one phone. Everyone sees the same secret word — except the imposter, who sees only the category and has to fake it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick your packs and pass the phone around. Each player taps to see their card. 2. The app picks who starts. Go round the table, each saying ONE word about the secret word — close enough to prove you know it, not so close you hand it over. 3. Count to three and all point at once. 4. The app reveals the truth. The imposter gets one chance to guess the word. THREE WAYS TO PLAY - Word — the classic. One secret word, one faker. - Spy Mode — everyone knows the location. The spy is guessing, and asking questions. - Just A Question — everyone answers a question. One person got a different one. 121 PACKS: 22 FREE, 99 WITH ONE UNLOCK 22 packs are free: Movies, Animals, Food, Sports, Music, Geography and more. One optional in-app purchase unlocks the other 99, plus premium Spy Mode locations and custom word lists. That's deep cuts for superhero arguments, galaxy-spanning sci-fi, anime nights, wizard schools, fantasy epics, boy bands, 90s nostalgia and fast-food loyalty, and your own packs for the inside jokes only your group will get. BUILT FOR A REAL TABLE - 3 to 20 players, up to 3 imposters - A hint system that gives the imposter something real to bluff with - Optional discussion timer - Difficulty that defaults to words people actually know - Big, readable cards and a one-way flip so nobody can peek twice - Fourteen colour themes NO NONSENSE No accounts. No sign-up. No ads. No analytics. No cross-app tracking. The game works completely offline, so it's good on a plane, in a car, or anywhere the wifi isn't. Some optional add-on packs contain adult content and sit behind an age check.
