Every puzzle has exactly one answer you can reach by reasoning. No guessing. A new puzzle every day Everyone gets the same daily puzzle on the same date. Monday starts gentle on a 6×6 grid, and the week builds to a fiendish 10×10 on Sunday. Missed a day? Open the calendar and play it later. When you’re done, share a spoiler-free result. Simple rules, pure logic Tap a cell once to cross it out and twice to place a star, or drag to cross out several cells at once. Stars that break a rule are ringed in red. There’s no time limit, and you can hide the clock. Hints that explain Stuck? A hint points at the cells that matter and tells you why, in plain words: “Row 3 has only one open cell left, so its star goes there.” Read it and carry on, or tap Show me to make that one move. A hint never gives away the whole puzzle. An endless puzzle book Beyond the daily puzzle, the puzzle book keeps going. Grids grow from 5×5 to 10×10 and from Gentle to Fiendish, with an easier breather every few puzzles. Puzzles are made on your device, so the book never runs out. Streaks and a calendar Solve today’s puzzle to grow your streak. The calendar marks the days you’ve solved and keeps your longest streak. Miss a day, and a short ad earns a streak freeze that saves it. Choose a time for a daily reminder, or leave reminders off. Made to be read Choose the paper edition, the night edition, or let your device decide. Every region has a pattern as well as a color, so you never rely on color alone. Text follows your device’s text size, motion calms down when Reduce Motion is on, and sounds and vibration are optional. Fair ads Quill & Star is free to play and supported by ads. No ad ever interrupts a puzzle. Your first three puzzles come with no ad breaks, and the first three puzzles in the book come with free hints. After that, a short ad may play between puzzles, and a small banner sits at the foot of the menu pages. Rewarded ads only play when you ask for one: for a hint, for one more try after three mistakes, or for a streak freeze. If an ad can’t load, you get the reward anyway. No account, plays offline There’s nothing to sign up for. Puzzles are made on your device, so you can play without Wi-Fi. Your progress stays on your device.
