Clean Getaway

Clean Getaway is a small arcade caper. You drive the getaway car round a town split by a river, with three places to rob: the bank, the jeweller and the port payroll. Your accomplice is overhead in a biplane, dropping bombs with terrible aim. HOW IT PLAYS • Touch where you want to go. The car swings wide, so turn early. • Stay inside a place's ring and the take grows. The longer you stay, the faster it grows, and the more police come. • Leave the ring to keep what you have in hand. Get caught first and you lose it. • The biplane marks where each bomb will land. Lure the police under the circles, and do not be there yourself. A bunch caught in one blast is worth far more than the same cars one by one. • The place you just robbed shuts for a while, so you cross the bridges to the next one. One bridge lifts for boats. The police block the others. A NEW TOWN EVERY JOB Every job lays out a new town: other streets, other bridges, the bank somewhere else. The daily job is the same town for everybody, for one day. SOMETHING TO SAVE FOR What you keep goes into the safe. It buys seven more cars, and one day the safe house: pull up at its door to lie low until the police stop looking, or call it a night and keep a quarter on top. THE TOWN'S RANKING Three Game Center boards: all-time haul, best job and today's job. NO ADS, NO TIMERS The whole game is free.
