About this game

The snake game from 90s mobile phones is back, on a phone you can hold in your hand. A REAL 84×48 DISPLAY Everything is drawn into a genuine 84×48-pixel, black-and-white display, the size of the screens on classic 90s phones. It glows with an LCD look: tiny gaps between the pixels, a faint dot matrix, pixels that fade out slowly, and a green backlight that dims when you stop pressing keys. THE WHOLE PHONE You play on a complete candybar phone with a round navigation key and a full keypad. Every key lights up when you press it, taps back with a short vibration and plays a classic beep. Prefer touch? Turn on Touch in Settings and swipe above the keys to steer. MADE FOR FOLDABLES Fold your phone into tabletop mode and the game splits like a flip phone: the screen above the fold, the keypad below, joined at the hinge. On small cover screens it switches to a compact display you play by touch. On iPhone Duo, snap it shut to pause and open it to be greeted again. CLASSIC PLAY • Nine speed levels • Walls, or wrap around the edges • A bonus bug that runs away if you're slow • Your ten highest scores, kept on the phone REWIND A CRASH Bit your own tail? You get 7 seconds to go back 10 steps and take the turn again, once per game. Your first rewind is included; more come in optional packs from the Rewinds menu. The game is complete without them. NOTHING ELSE No ads, no account, no tracking. The game works offline, so it's ready for flights, trains and anywhere without signal. Sounds follow your silent switch and mix with your music. Works on iPhone and iPad, in portrait and landscape.
